Bristol based duo playing virtuosic repertoire for one and two recorders. We take our name from the Bohemian-Austrian composer and violinist Heinrich Ignaz Franz von Biber.
The Biber Duo went to the Open Recorder Days Amsterdam (2017) and participated in the competition. We did not progress beyond the preliminary round, but thought we played well. You can see a video of our performance on our YouTube channel.
Lunchtime Live, St. Francis’ Ashton Gate streamed online. The dynamic Bibers play baroque and rococo duets, and a smattering of solo material for treble and bass recorders.
